A Meal A Day - Food4all initiative from Helps Foundation

 “A meal - A day!" -- Initiative from HELPS Foundation under Food4All project. 

As a Spanish proverb state ~ The belly rules the mind.

Keeping this in mind HELPS foundation is working on economic & social empowerment of rural children in the villages across Gujarat.

  

The foundation is committed to raising the level of livelihood & education in rural Gujarat. Schools offer a nurturing approach to education. Many of these children come from families where parents are daily wagers who earn very meager incomes. Due to the absence of any vegetables, fruits or proteins, the nutritional content of their food is very poor. This severely effect the physical & mental growth of the children.

By providing, at least one tasty & nutritious meal to these kids, two issues are addressed; the health of the children & incentive of the parent to send their children to the school.

A nutritious meal should be every child's right. Today as part of Birthday Celebration of Dr. Dhirendra Patel , HELPS Foundation distribution a meal which had Puri, Aloo Sabzi & Jalebi to  198 children & 10 school staff at Boys school no 1, Pay center school at Viramgam - Ahmedabad district, Gujarat.  We thank the school & their management for the cooperation & support.

We believe providing A Meal - A Day, to these poor rural children can be a dream come true for them.  The reason we post pictures on social platform is not so people donate but To Create Awareness & Philosophy among everyone that so many people sleep hungry every single day.

If you can't feed a 100 people, then just feed one and trust us the gift of food to the hungry is the noblest of all.

Helps Foundation initiative to provide Food4All under that Helps Foundation Started Project "A Meal-A Day" - where we will try to provide One time meal to people who are not able to get one time meal. 
A Meal-A Day will try to at least provide either Lunch or Dinner once a day to needy people of Vadia and near by villages of Tharad.
